1. Overview

Sigma Tech Communications LLC (“Sigma Tech,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides AI-powered phone answering and appointment booking services to restaurants, nail salons, and other small businesses (“Business Clients”). As part of these services, we may send SMS text messages to the customers (“End Users”) of our Business Clients on their behalf.

By providing your phone number and consenting to receive SMS messages, you agree to the following terms and conditions.

2. Types of Messages

You may receive the following types of SMS messages:

  • Appointment Confirmations — Confirming your reservation or booking details
  • Appointment Reminders — Reminders about upcoming appointments
  • Missed Call Notifications — Follow-up when a business was unable to answer your call
  • Customer Care Messages — Responses to inquiries you made to the business

3. Consent & Opt-In

You may provide consent to receive SMS messages only through an affirmative, written opt-in. Examples of accepted opt-in methods include:

  • Web Opt-In Form: On the contact or booking pages of Sigma Tech Communications and our Business Clients, you may check an unchecked consent box that reads (in substance):“I agree to receive SMS notifications from Sigma Tech Communications. Message frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.”The checkbox includes a link to these SMS Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
  • Written Consent: In-person paper intake forms or digital forms signed by you that include the same disclosure and consent language as above.

Consent is not a condition of purchase or service. You are not required to opt in to SMS messaging to use the services of Sigma Tech Communications or any of our Business Clients. We retain a record of each opt-in (including timestamp, IP address, and the exact consent language) as proof of consent.

4. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your interactions with our Business Clients. Typically, you may receive up to 5 messages per month per Business Client. Message frequency may increase during periods of active booking activity.

5. Opt-Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message you receive from us. You may also reply with any of the following keywords: CANCEL, END, QUIT, UNSUBSCRIBE, REVOKE, OPTOUT, or STOPALL.

Upon receiving your opt-out request, we will send a one-time confirmation message and you will no longer receive SMS messages from that number. To resume receiving messages, reply START.

Message and data rates may apply. Sigma Tech Communications does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging fees. Please contact your wireless carrier for details about your text messaging plan.

Your phone number and personal information are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in data to any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile information is used solely to deliver the SMS messages you have consented to, and is shared only with SMS gateway providers (such as Twilio) acting strictly as our data processors under contract.

9. Supported Carriers

Messages are sent via industry-standard SMS protocols and are compatible with all major U.S. carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this SMS Terms & Conditions policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued receipt of SMS messages after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
